Terri & Carlos’s Love Story | A Gold Creek Pond and Silver Fur Lodge Wedding
Where to begin with Terri & Carlos’s Silver Fur Lodge wedding day. Maybe their fearlessness in holding their ceremony outside at Gold Creek Pond, despite the forecasted rain. Or perhaps their whole wedding party’s willingness to hike to Franklin Falls with us for some epic photos (also, despite the rain). Or just the exuding happiness and excitement to tie the knot in the mountains with their closest family and friends. It was incredible to be a part in this day. We always get a little nervous when a bride and groom have planned for a beautiful outside wedding and we see rain in the forecast. Terri and Carlos took it all in stride, and made the decision to stick with their plan to say their vows on the edge of Gold Creek Pond at Snoquamie Pass. It must have been meant to be, because as soon as we finished up photos and headed to the pond, the rain stopped – and held off until everyone was safely inside the Silver Fur Lodge for the reception. It could not have been more perfect – especially given their adventurous attitude towards getting the photos they wanted, even if it meant hiking around in the rain. Not that we could tell if it was raining at Franklin Falls, which was absolutely crashing with all the spring snow melt. It truly made for an epic wedding day, and one that we won’t soon forget!
