Andrea & Paul | Lake Union Engagement Photos on a Boat

One of the coolest parts about our job is joining our couples on unique adventures. We’ve been to football stadiums, baseball stadiums, awesome private farms, intense hikes, and now, a sunset boat tour around Lake Union. You can’t beat those job perks! But really, when Andrea and Paul mentioned that they spend many an afternoon together on Lake Union, and wanted to include that into their engagement session, we were esctatic. It isn’t every day you get to photograph on a boat. We started their session on land, at Discovery Park in Seattle. It was a gorgeous, bright, spring (well, it was February… with the year we’ve been having, we’re calling that spring) day, and we couldn’t wait to get to the boat! Hanging out with Andrea and Paul, you can just tell these two are meant to be together. They just seem to be on the same wavelength. Top on our list of priorities for their engagement photos on Lake Union was to catch a float plane taking off, or landing. As we were headed down the lake, we got a front row seat! How cool is that?
