Lake Union Engagement Session | Seattle Wedding Photographers

From the second Khristy mentioned in an e-mail to us that she and Fletcher had a sailboat they might want to take their engagement photos on, we were out of our minds excited for their Lake Union engagement session. It was the perfect Salt engagement session, and we don’t get many of those in the Midwest! (One of the reasons we are so darn excited to move to Seattle!) Their sailboat ended up having a little bit of trouble that prevented us from taking it out on the water. Then Joe and I had a little bit of trouble getting ourselves (and our cameras) out on the water. But, we managed to make things work in the best way possible! Khristy and Fletcher motored over in their boat (the VERY one he proposed in) to Gasworks Park and we photographed them from the shoreline. Lake Union was calm and the weather was incredible (aka not raining…) for their engagement session. We could tell Khristy and Fletcher feel at home with each other, and on the water. We loved getting to know these two, and can not wait for their winter wedding in January – right on Lake Union as well!
