It has now been just over a year since our wedding date, and to this day I can attest that our choice to hire Salt and Pine for our photography was hands-down, THE BEST investment we made in the whole process. We chose to hire them for both our engagement and wedding day photos, and from the very beginning, Joe and Darryl Ann made us feel like life-long friends. They have an easy, affable approach to their sessions and an eye for catching the kind of moments you could only dream of holding on to. When we had to change our date mid-planning they were more than accommodating, and on the day of our wedding they were always gung-ho for building off our wild ideas. Now, a year after the fact, my photos from this time in my life are some of my most prized possessions. Not only did Salt and Pine capture images that look like they belong in a magazine, but they captured images that truly tell the story of our wedding — the excited jump mid-air over the Seattle skyline, the beautiful cake my mother-in-law handmade for the event, the laughter on the dancefloor, the personal moments my husband and I shared together throughout one of the most important days of our lives. Choosing Salt and Pine Photo to take our wedding pictures was by far the best decision we made for our wedding. Darryl Ann & Joe truly make you feel like your natural selves, but somehow make you look 100000x better than you do in real life! Really, our family thought the photos were taken using some magic, everyone looked so incredible. Working with them felt like working with our close friends and we had a ton of fun in the process! They are such warm and accommodating people who also help direct you in the nicest way so that you look your best! They really take the time to get to know you and your style, if you have any special preferences, a certain style or shot you like, certain guests to focus on, special places you want to take photos at, etc. We highly recommend doing an Adventure shoot as well if you can because those pictures were truly SPECTACULAR. The beautiful way that Darryl Ann & Joe captured us with the nature around us was really fantastic and we still receive non-stop compliments on those (well, really all of our) pictures! They also have an incredible way of capturing true candid, natural emotion which is probably my favorite element of all of the pictures. I cannot put into words how much I love these photographers and their work, you just need to look at their gallery to feel what I am talking about! You will absolutely not regret hiring them! Just make sure to do it early so they are available.

Their contract software was easy and informative, they are DETAILED in all communications, cover all bases/questions etc. When I think of Salt and Pine, I think of two people who are deeply good at their craft, but who also have the nitty gritty business details all figured out. They are flexible, forward thinking people and that is who you need on your wedding day. ALSO! They TRULY know how to deal with couples. My hubby and I were all frazzled for our engagement photos, they calmed us down, showed us how to pose, and dealt with us perfectly. I could just continue to gush and gush over them, but please just hire them. I have high standards for people and these two went above and beyond!!!
